 BLOG EXERCISE

Add 2 items to the list above - then SORT the 10 items into 2 groups.

 1. Essential
 2. Secondary  (give at least one example for each group)

Essential
Secondary
Showing respect
Acknowledging discomfort or anger
Sensitivity to social, cultural, personal situations and dynamics
Understanding of the consequences of actions
Honesty
Honouring commitments
Being prepared to fully participate
Communicating in an open way
Respecting property

Sensitivity to personal space

Example from Essential group:
In the Mac Labs at class it is essential and expected that we respect the property of CDU by obeying rules such as no food and drink, not making a mess, etc.

Example from Secondary group:
It is not essential but is important that we communicate. In organising the exhibition I have found that it has been important to communicate with the group so we can allocate tasks and ensure they get done.

GROUP EXERCISE
Trust & creative partnerships

PART 1: Whos Got a Dollar?

•   Demo
•   Silent Reflection
  1. Would you volunteer your money - that is, take risk?
I didn't volunteer because I didn't have any cash on me, but I know if i did I would feel hesitant

  2. How did you feel?
I would feel a little uncomfortable about someone taking it without asking or earning it.

  3. Did you feel a little sheepish?
A little, if someone stood up and said something, I may have responded. But because I didnt have
any cash on me it was ok.

  4. What about when the ante was upped to ten dollars?
I thought, Im glad I don't have money on me haha. And i thought it would be cool if I won it.

  5. Twenty?
Was starting to think it was a bit much for the other person to be giving away freely.

  6. Did you think the volunteers were foolish?
A little but wasn't too sure what was going on and if they were going to get it back.

  1. BLOG EXERCISE: you have added 2 items and sorted them - but still need to....

"give at least one example for each group"

...and so on down the blog - at least you are pasting the questions - but there are no answers.
You need to address everything required every week to qualify in this unit. More focus and diligence will get you there.
